Gaming Documentary evaluation

Main strengths

We successfully explored the effects theories (hypodermic needle theory, moral panic and cultivation theory).
We had a introduction, conclusion and main body (it had a clear structure).
We got opinions from many people and our interviewing skills were excellent.
The camera movements and shot was very good especially when I was being filmed talking about moral panic (the camera movement was a pan and the shot was a mid-shot) and during the introduction (stationary shot and close up)
We included background music which gave the audio more character and made the documentary better to listen to.
We added transitions to our documentary making it more interesting and creative.

Main areas for improvement

The editing was not the best. Areas that needed to be cut were not cut. In future, we should try to be more neater when cutting scenes and knowing what parts to leave out.
The sound was also not the best as there was a lot of background noise. In future, we should try to film in quieter areas.
The background music that we edited in could not be heard properly. In future, we should control the volume levels for different bits of audio a bit better.
The bloopers at the end didn't say that they were bloopers so the audience were confused. In future, we need to say what is happening when.
