Hollywood Blockbusters task




















Paid advertising included trailers that were shown on telly and online (youtube and twitter etc). One of the actors who voiced Edna, did a radio ad for the movie, to appear in December.
Other advertising campaigns they did was having their movie featured on Billboards in the United States as well as little toys inspired by the movie getting put inside Mcdonald's happy meals.

In terms of social media, there was a lot of online ad campaigns that drove traffic to the movie.

Brand partnerships is when two companies form an alliance to work together, creating a marketing synergy. For example, Mcdonalds forming an alliance with Disney, in order to produce Incredible themed toys for happy Meals.  https://youtu.be/k8QWnLrkiRo

Co-Branded advertising is the way the product is advertised during a brand partnership. 


Sequels tend to do better than the first time movies as people have already got to know the movie and have already created that relationship with the movie where they can strongly say whether they like or dislike it. Incredibles 2 was 3rd in the table for top grossing of films of 2018 and black Panther was first.
